Objectives

The main objective of this cohort is to identify the biological and phenotypic factors associated with weight loss in ALS.

Critères d'inclusion

  • Incident cases included at the time of diagnosis with definite, probable, laboratory probable or possible ALS according to the revised El Escorial criteria and Gold Coast criteria for early diagnosis.
  • Incident cases of ALS identified and followed up in participating ALS and other motor neuron disease referral centers: seven in France and two in Germany.
  • Patients who have signed the informed consent form.
  • Adults over 18 years of age

Critères de non-inclusion

  • Inability to understand protocol requirements.
  • Cognitive inability to sign and understand informed consent form.
  • Patient does not accept Riluzole treatment during follow-up.
